After approximate 651 travel days Alcyone is resting uneasily and helplessly in the deep unloving bosom of the Gloom at the scrapyard site of The Dark Moon Conglomerate. The ship has just engaged in a battle against unknown technomagical form of quasi-life, resulting to a megaton level explosion.

I fear that the explosion of the satellite shaped abomination of quasi-life that self-identified as "Iteration 17" has compromised our mission beyond the reasonable safe levels we have enjoyed so far. l'Olonnais' Absolute Obedience surely has now detected Alcyone's signal and is tracking us actively.
