Covenant / SalmanElderOfOrdoNuntius
Salman, Elder of Ordo Nuntius, 54Appearance: The master of Gharda chapterhouse is a middle aged man with a dark complexion and hawkish features. Originally from Denkhatar, he has retained an aura of refinement and civility typical to the citizens of that rich realm. His handsome looks have been marred by the brutal changes imposed by his Conduit. Salman has no scalp. Instead there is a mess of whirring gears and mechanical parts, which sprout forth from his skull. A vast system of pipes filled with cooling liquids flow between his body and head. Story: Salman is an Elder of Ordo Nuntius with an excellent service record. He has served under the Golden Dome, in Arx Machinus and Ameracho. He was appointed as the leader of Gharda chapterhouse four years ago. Since then, he has forged influential ties to the Eurasian politicians and military leaders. Strategic importance of the Gharda farspeaking relay make the chapterhouse important despite its desolate, distant location. According to official records, Salman is a diplomatic personality with few enemies. He has floated through the Ordo politics relatively unscathed, building influence with a quiet professionalism. Salman has taken part during several projects where old relay stations were refurnished and repaired. This has given him reputation as an adept administrator and a specialist in maintaining old Nuntius hardware. Keyholders claim Salman to be a member of the Rebuilders. His influence among the Gold People of Eurasia is worrying; it might imply a larger Rebuilder plot at work. Keyholders wish to see Salman’s faith in the ordinary people shaken. If possible, recruiting him into the Keyholders is a priority. If this proves impossible, driving him away from the Rebuilders is sufficient. Should his ties to the covenant prove unbreakable, his reputation must be stained. Slanting Aurelio’s death and other associated events as his fault in the Rimore investigation provides an excellent opportunity for it. Abilities: As an Elder of Nuntius, Salman has a reputation for talent in Ars Nuntius, farseeing and farspeaking. He is known as an able administrator. Salman has influence within Ordo Nuntius and among leaders of several realms. According to classified files acquired by Siria, he has received some training in Ars Rimore. |
